We left a cold and rainy Myrtle Beach on Saturday morning bound for Brevard NC. We traveled with the rain for most of our trip, emerging from it just in time to see the NC mountains looming ahead. As we approached Brevard, we began seeing snow on the ground from a snow storm 2 days earlier. The boys grew excited as the amount of snow increased to at least 4 - 6 inches. We left the highway for our camp site in the Pisgah forest on to a snow covered dirt road. We found our camp site sitting next to a beautiful creek and covered in snow. We had a great time and the boys can’t wait to go back!
