Welcome to the Troop 853 Website

Troop 853 is chartered to Surfside United Methodist Church, where we hold or weekly troop meetings. The church is located at the intersection of US Highway 17 Business and 13th Avenue North in Surfside Beach, SC. We are a boy-led troop.

We will be camping Friday night, Oct 21st at the church and will be helping with the Fall Festival. Wes will show a cool movie Friday night, so don’t miss it!

We’ll be working and camping at Myrtle Beach State Park for the District’s Webeloree November 7- 9th.

It’s time for our Second Annual Georgetown Hospital Catering Fundraiser! Mark your calendar for Sept 24th. We’re going to be catering this event again this year, please see your SPL for more info.
